Recco (Brazil)

With its cafes, restaurants and luxury boutiques, São Paulo’s Jardins district is truly one of its richest and renowned for its characteristic atmosphere. Since 2014, one splendid boutique in particular has been housed in the quarter’s Oscar Freire street. Recco is a truly unique store, entirely dedicated to lingerie and loungewear.

Not only is Recco available in over 2,000 multi-brand stores across Brazil, but the superb brand of lingerie and loungewear also has around 25 of its own mono brand stores. We love the location’s characteristic mix of femininity, romanticism and modernity. FAL Design Estratégico designed the concept behind the store and the resulting space is both welcoming and contemporary.  Products are displayed as works of art behind playful frames that compliment the warm ruby colored stonewalls and gray flooring. This unique design theme is further reinforced through the chrome display units, hanging rails and crystal chandelier. At the entrance, lingerie is displayed theoretically, while a decidedly more intimate atmosphere has been created at the rear of the store. This area contains not only the fitting rooms but also a space for relaxing with velvet armchairs and coffee tables. The true defining feature of the store’s design project has to be the “tunnel of time,” used to tell Recco’s story and to display lingerie on busts in elegant glass display cases.
