Macoon Dessous (Germany)

After years spent working for several leading European brands, such as Lise Charmel, Huit, Playtex and Gattina, as well as scouring lingerie boutiques across Germany, Maria Thiele decided to open her very own retail space in the Bavarian town of Asbach. Launched in October 2015, Macoon Dessous draws inspiration from the 1950s and its most stylish divas. The space is an artful mix of industrial decor and retro style, complete with a series of black-and-white portraits depicting the decade’s iconic stars. From owner Maria’s warm welcome, to the lounge area complete with comfortable sofas and complimentary coffee, everything was designed to provide the perfect shopping experience. The product mix runs the gamut, from classic cotton panties to seductive lingerie sets, catering for every taste and need. From petites to plus size, the store stocks a wide array of cup sizes. To complement these core categories, the boutique also offers a distinctive selection of corsets, loungewear, and nightwear, as well as ready-to-wear styles.
