Jesus Fernandez (Argentina)

Thus was born the Argentine brand of high-end lingerie. Not long after, a partner joined Jesus in his adventure and the company now has 30 employees. Jesus opened his first boutique in 2008 in Buenos Aires. Today, the brand has six stores in its native country of Argentina, one in Bolivia and is distributed in a hundred additional points of sale throughout Argentina, as well as in Japan. Renovated in 2017, the brand’s original space makes an elegant statement within a seductive and romantic atmosphere.
❤We love the baroque wallpaper of this exhibition space, bathed in natural light through the plethora of windows. Cinema-style spotlights illuminate the lace-clad mannequins in a contrasting black and white color scheme. The atmosphere leans towards a retro feeling from the so-called Belle Epoque years (1800-1900), discreetly inspiring cabaret-chic and boudoir looks. One side the store houses racks of fine lingerie, while the other presents swimwear collections, and nightwear and loungewear are displayed in open wardrobes of aged white wood. Luxurious undergarments are also available in small travel trunks and vintage vanity cases on a large ebony raw wood table. Bouquets of flowers, arranged here and there, soften the dark furniture, which stands in contrast to the light walls and natural brightness of the space. Every piece of furniture, object, and product in the shop seems to have been chosen with great care, further confirming that Jesus Fernandez is a must in Buenos Aires for lovers of vintage style and refined lingerie.
