Her observation? We spend half our lives in our pajamas - around 233,600 hours according to studies! - so we might as well do it with materials that are pleasant to wear, cheerful colors, and a classic cut. This rings all the more true as pajamas have become (and increasingly so), a staple not only of our nightwear wardrobe, nut also of our daywear, to be worn as a total look ensemble or mixed’n’matched with other items. What Jeanne wanted was above all to offer the same prints to all members of the family for a coordinated look at the breakfast table or at dinner. Thus, in 2019, she created Holi Holi: a phonetic play on the French words for “in bed” (au lit), but also a name that refers to a huge festival of color in India, the country in which the designer first had the idea for the brand and also that where her collections are made. Going home, getting out of your day clothes and putting on a comfortable but stylish outfit is the key to chic cocooning and this is precisely what Holi Holi offers with a line of “night suits”, halfway way between an indoor garment and pajamas, for feeling good at home. Made in the softest possible materials - fine cotton and washed silk -, the garments are light and comfortable, featuring classic cuts for men, women, children and babies. From the chic and timeless stripe to the flashy print with a strong visual impact, there are patterns to satisfy every style and color is always the main focus of the collections. “I’d tried night creams and masks that make amazing promises for 10 years but there’s no question really; a colored fabric near the face is the best remedy for a healthy glow when you wake up in the morning!” Jeanne tells us enthusiastically.
