Specialising in lace since 1985, today the Iluna Group launches its new embroidery division. The thread that runs throughout: an environmentally-friendly R&D for a 360° fashion-forward approach in true Iluna style.
With this new division, embroidery— previously developed by Iluna with matching solutions of lace and flock—becomes part of the company’s know-how with a dedicated production structure. The mission is to create, in the high-end segment that Iluna is developing with its Black Label, new industrial synergies between lace and embroidery, in order to offer the top brands of lingerie, beachwear and ready-to-wear a complete and coordinated style package, ready to be applied across their collections. The Embroidery range is based on stylistic research, yarn study, technological innovation, quality control and all the lace certifications for which Iluna prides itself. And the focus is on sustainability: the Green Label R&D also extends to embroidery with eco- materials and certified production processes. The synergy is also reflected in the brand image: with a play on contrasts, the elegant graphic code used for the Black Label lace has been applied this time in white.

The new Iluna Embroidery capsule features 25 items, with each one finding an ideal lace match. The company offers widths and allover, flocking, embroidery and guipure; from fabric to decoration, these elements represent a concrete and creative offering, designed to be ready to use, alongside the launch of a line of ecological embroidery and flock made entirely of recycled yarns (Q-nova regenerated nylon and Roica Eco-Smart elastomer). The flocking is achieved with Tencel, a biodegradable material resulting from 100% sustainable production. The Ultralight range, created with a "green" approach, is enriched with new multicolor floral widths. Here the usage of different colored threads, typical of the embroidery technique, was brought to lace looms. By changing the color of the thread not only in the background, but also in the design itself, the same article is reinvented in multiple variations with a strong visual impact. Bicolored and multicolored effects are also found in the new freecut lace line designed for shapewear.
