Fulgar Implements Full Traceability for its Q-Nova Yarn

Obtained exclusively from raw materials regenerated via a mechanical, non-chemical process, Q-nova boasts numerous green certifications, including Global Recycled Standard and EU Ecolabel, and has also become part of the HIGG INDEX, an index developed by the SAC (Sustainable Apparel Coalition) that assesses the environmental impact of the entire life cycle of a garment. From today on, Q-nova is also traceable. Thanks to a special ingredient inserted within the same PA, the ID traceability system developed by Fulgar enables, at any time, an authenticity verification of the recycled yarn’s origin. To date, verification can be carried out by institutional third-parties such as consumer associations and government bodies, but further evolution in the future will make it possible for consumers to directly identify the eco origin of the yarn through a special scanner and garment labels.
